just a random thought.
when someone is said to be understanding, sometimes he/she doesn't really understand anything.
understanding - adj
1. sympathetic, tolerant, or wise towards people
2. possessing judgement and intelligence
i think many a times, people with point no. 1, unfortunately, do not have no. 2.
